Defining the Value of Avvo.com

Project Description:  

We would like the CMC student team to analyze our data with the goal of defining/proving the value to client reviews, free consultation, number of years licensed and the Avvo Rating to consumers and attorneys. The analysis would start by normalizing the number of profile views per impression and contact views per impression on Avvo.com to take into account that, based on what they spend, some attorneys data is served up more frequently than others’.  Next the team would assess whether/how the presence of these elements on attorneys’ profiles increase the likelihood that the consumer will seek to learn more about the attorney and contact the attorney. With regard to client reviews, the analysis would go one level deeper, assessing the impact of the number of client reviews, their currency, the reviews rating total and whether or not the attorney responds to reviews plays any role in consumers’ selection of an attorney.
